Industrial wood packaging
EILS has true expertise in wood packaging ! We design and manufacture packaging solutions tailored to every type of transport : road, sea, or air.
Each of our packaging solutions is carefully designed to optimize volume while providing maximum protection for your machines and equipment. We adhere to SEI4B and SEI4C packaging standards to prevent risks related to sealing, runoff, humidity, and corrosion.
Whether dealing with thermal or humidity-related risks, we anticipate all constraints associated with transportation and storage. The SEI4C packaging standard, with its vacuum-sealing process, can guarantee up to two years of storage.
For regulated products, we conduct studies and ensure compliance with current regulations for multimodal transport (ADR/RID/ADN/IMDG) and air freight (IATA).
To ensure complete transparency, we provide a dedicated application that allows customers to track every key stage of the packaging process through real-time photos. All necessary documentation for identifying the contents of the crate is included with the shipment, ensuring full traceability of your products.

Each of your requests is handled as project management. We have a design office to respond to the most complex requests. Our aim is to provide you with a solution that perfectly meets your requirements in terms of quality, cost and deadlines.
Our staff are trained in packaging techniques and have the necessary training in product handling. We are able to work both on our own sites and on our customers’ sites.
Our equipments
We are based in Alsace, in Erstein (67) and Tagolsheim (68).
Our two sites have overhead travelling cranes and handling equipment enabling us to carefully pack all types of products up to 40 ton in weight. The Erstein site has a 40-ton crane with a 16-ton hook and a 40-ton hook, while the Tagolsheim site has 2 twin 20-ton cranes.
